Our company values

Human centered, always
We’re a “family” business

Our goal is to help people build families — today or in the future — no matter who they are or what life stage they’re in. This extends not only to our users and their families, but also, to our team. We care about each other as coworkers and humans, and support each other while helping other families grow.

Our Members > everything
We lead with empathy

Every decision we make ladders back to our Members. We always aim to put ourselves in their figurative shoes, and use this as a gut check as much as possible. Understanding our Members allows us to build experiences that are more transparent, less icky, and as always, human-centered.

Everything is figureoutable
We’re owners, not renters

We care deeply about solving real problems in our industry, starting with how we build and run this organization. When faced with challenges, we take our time to figure it out, and do the right thing for the long term. We’re “all hands on deck,” and comfortable jumping in where our talents are needed. Simply put — we’re not just “renting” here for a bit, we’re owners.

Everyone is welcome
We support family-building for all

At Co, we strive to embody inclusion and always create welcoming spaces for our employees and our Members alike. In every decision, we consider how different genders, races, sexual orientations, and backgrounds might feel, experience, or think about the topic at hand. Representation and inclusion are at our core.

Data is queen
We’re scientists at heart

We’re in a never-ending pursuit for knowledge that improves our Members’ experience and family-building outcomes. We love and seek data to make informed decisions, from the latest studies on fertility preservation and donor conception to internal metrics that can lead to product improvements. We iterate and innovative, and are not afraid to change our minds in the face of new facts.
