Aagya Mathur
Aagya Mathur is the Co-Founder and CEO of Aavia, an ovarian hormone health platform that connects the dots between ovarian hormone health and how you feel. Ovarian hormones, under-researched and under-funded, impact everything from quality of sleep and energy levels to sex drive, skin quality, mood, and even your digestive health. The Aavia app allows members to track how their ovarian hormones impact this and more, unlocking insights, recommendations, and trends into their ovarian hormone cycle. From starting a volunteer service to fill a community need and founding a business to provide affordable transportation to her undergraduate classmates, to now leading Aavia to improve the health and wellness of people with ovaries, Mathur’s goal is to bridge gaps and solve inefficiencies. Through personal and professional experiences, she found her passion at the intersection of healthcare, innovation, and analytics-driven insights. During her consulting career, she worked with various clients to improve patient experience; however, she found she needed to be closer to the end-user to have the kind of impact she knew she could have. Mathur graduated from MIT Sloan (MBA) and University of Virginia (Neuroscience BA & Biomedical Engineering thesis). She enjoys dancing, being active, and traveling.
